The Charlie-II submarines are based at Vidyayevo Naval Base in Ara Bay. A submarine has also been laid up at Ura Bay.[222]

factory no. 903. Now at Nerpa Naval Yard where it will be dismantled.[224] The submarine's fuel was removed in the spring of 1995.[225]
